With the ambitious dissertation project, I wanted to deal with the scuba diving area and its education. Upon the identification of a problem, Virtual Scuba aims to be the solution, with the structuring of a new didactics focused on innovation, engagement through an interactive and immersive approach.

As a visual communicator, my goal is to find the right ways, tools and languages to be able to help the contemporary learner to be able to learn in the best way. The dissertation project consists of 3 projects within it: the learning manual, underwater cards for hands-on activity, and virtual reality videos collected in an app, with gamification principles.


The innovation and potential of the project lies in changing the fruition and approach to expertise and knowledge, while maintaining a design and stylistic coherence among the various artifacts, all managed with a more interactive, playful approach and with the various tools interconnected. The other potential of the project is that the teaching was structured with consideration of both instructor artifacts and student artifacts.
