This project is a tribute to the great photographer Werner Bishof, which I've designed 2 folding posters and a Catalog Set consisting of 4 books that can offer a rich and engaging visual experience, celebrating the life and legacy of Werner Bishof through the magic of his photographs.

I made two posters with two different styles: one with a strong imprint found in some of his 2/4 period photographs and another more delicate setting like the images he made in his early period. They are both balanced compositions that play a lot with typography, trying to bring out different characteristics of the artist.
The box set is an ambitious work, designed to tell the story of Werner Bishof's life and work through his unique lens. Each book represents a distinct chapter in his career, related to a specific geographic area explored by the photographer. Each book begins with a brief biographical paragraph about Bishof at that time, presenting the key elements of his life and work. The reader is then guided through a photographic narrative, where the images are the absolute protagonists. The sequence of photos is designed to create a visual story that unfolds harmoniously, offering an in-depth look at Bishof's perspective and sensibility.
